Current Packers odds

Blogged under Bloglockers, Front Page, If I Were a Betting Man by ravenhater on Tuesday 29 August 2006 at 5:50 pm

The over/under for Packers wins is 6.  The Packers are currently 65-1 to win the Super Bowl and 35-1 to win the NFC.

My suggestion would be to stay away from betting on the Packers.  I expect them to be improved, but to win six games this season.  Save your money.

it could happen! they have an easy schedule, only for sure loss is Seahawks, depending how the ball bounces, got two great man to man cover guys in Harris and Woodson really fast young linebackers who if they set up right before the snap should be tops in the league, like Don Shula said 70% of the play is decided before the ball is snapped! decent recievers, Green is a top 10 back, the leg on the punter is amazing, Farve is still the best in the league, if he has a line. If the offensive line shows up the division is theirs, after that home games and a little luck, it could happen!

I think alot depends on keeping Ahman Green and Samkon Gado healthy. Nothing helps a QB more than a good running game.
