The Bears absolutely blasted the hapless Packers on Sunday.  Brett Favre probably wished he would have retired as he had a rough day.  Favre completed 15 of 29 passes (51.7%) for 170 yards and 2 pick-offs.  It was nice to see Ahman Green have a good game as he rushed for 110 yards on 20 carries (5.5 ypc) and he caught 3 passes for 22 yards.  WR Donald Driver also had a good game catching 7 passes for 96 yards (13.7 avg).

LB Nick Barnett looked like the only defensive player that thought their was a game on Sunday as he had 9 tackles.  The Packers held the Bears to an average of 3.0 yards per carry, but 109 yards rushing.  The Bears completed 19 of 27 passes (70.4%) for 252 net yards passing.

I have been a fan of green bay for 11 yrs.now I use to live in green bay and the surrounding area for about 3 yrs. I use to clean the stadium when I was there. I went to alot of the tail gate parties in front. Got to meet Gilbert Brown at perkins one night. He was real nice.

I think for the team to get back; is to get another coach like vince lombardi. We need to make a come back. Losing to the Chicogo bears was a slap in the face. It’s getting to the lowest low now. I know that we could do better. The team can’t rely on bret fahar. what we need is to have more players like bret. I would really like to see green bay triumph again.

There’s no shame in losing to the Bears…they are a good football team. Remember, it’s only one game.

Green Bay will remain pitiful as long as they continue to refuse to recognize that Brett Farve is no longer at the level of the most ineffective QB in the leauge.

His popularity had allowed those who are in power in the Front office and the coaching staff to pretend nothing has changed. Itwill only get worse as the season rolls on.

The Packers problems run much deeper than Brett Favre. The offensive line is pitiful and the defense has a long way to go to be even decent. When the Bears are throwing all over you, you have big problems.
