Packers put up a good fight, but lose 34-27

QB Brett Favre showed he still had something in the tank with a great effort in the loss to the Saints. Favre completed 31 of 55 passes (56.4%) for 340 yards with 3 TDs and 1 interception. RB Ahman Green had a rough time carrying the ball 16 times for 42 yards (2.6 ypc) and caught 6 passes for 48 yards (8.0 avg). WR Donald Driver had a great game catching 8 passes for 153 yards (19.1 avg). Rookie WR Greg Jennings caught 6 passes for 67 yards (11.2 avg) and a TD. TE David Martin caught 6 passes for 44 yards (7.3 avg). RB Noah Herron and WR Robert Ferguson each caught a TD pass.

DE Aaron Kampman was dominant against the Saints with 3 sacks and a fumble recovery. The Packers stuffed the Saints explosive running game, holding them to 48 yards and only 2.2 yards per carry. The Saints completed 63.4% of their passes for 332 net yards passing.
