Green Bay Packers vs. Seattle Seahawks

The Packers and Seahawks are both coming off disappointing losses, but the Seahawks are finally getting healthy.  Matt Hasselbeck and Shaun Alexander will both be starting on Monday Night.

Look for the Packers to run the football with Ahman Green (644 yards rushing) and Vernand Morency (235 yards rushing) against a soft Seahawks run defense that allowed Frank Gore to rush for 212 yards last week, and have allowed an average of 117.8 yards rushing and 4.5 yards per carry on the season.  Brett Favre (2,368 yards passing) could also have a good day against the Seahawks who allow 212.7 net yards passing per game.  Donald Driver (58 rec, 813 yards) could have a huge game on Monday Night.

Look for the Seahawks to throw the ball alot against a Packers secondary that is allowing 241.3 net yards passing per game.  Darrell Jackson (50 rec, 785 yards) and Deion Branch should cause all kinds of trouble for the Packers as long as the line gives Hasselbeck enough time to throw the ball.  The Packers already have 33 sacks (Aaron Kampman has 10), and the Seahawks have allowed 34 sacks on the season…so that could be a problem.  Shaun Alexander could have a rough time against the Packers defense which is only allowing 3.7 yards per carry this season.

Look for an offensive shoot-out on Monday Night.  I have a feeling that the gimpy QB that protects the football better will prevail in this game.

    Hello well I think that the monday night football game packers and seahawks was not fair for the packers. I think we know who was the real money makers that night.(THEY WERE WAERING BLACK AND WHITE)Come on the pack had 5 take aways and still didn’t win. I never in my life seen anything like this ever in an NFL game. That delay of game was also something special.

    was it only me that saw on the last drive before the 2 minute warning that brett hit Donald Driver on the left flats and NOT ahman green for 7 yards?

    Chuck….the Refs still owe the Seahawks for fixing the Super Bowl.

    I think everyone needs to stop with looking at baseball in a bad light and start looking at the NFL I know the refs are getting payed off. Just look at how football was and what it is now.

    Until they hire the refs full-time, it’s easy for them to be manipulated by cold, hard cash.
