2007 Draft

Anyone watch the Houston Cougars in the Liberty Bowl?  Quarterback Kevin Kolb (#4) looks like the real deal.  He is projected to be the 5th or 6th QB taken in 2007.
How is this for a bold move - trade up our first round pick along with Aaron Rogers to Detroit.  Take Calvin Johnson in the first round and Kevin Kolb in Round 2.

This, of course, is assuming Brett will play for at least one more, hopefully two more years.

It eliminates any potential quarterback controversy, and  Kevin Kolb gets to learn from one of the best ever just before Brett is ready to hang it up.

Rogers shouldn’t have to hang around for another year or two behind Brett.  We would definitely have to address a few weak areas via free agency and the later rounds of the draft, but this would give us a great future, and a decent chance next year to make some noise.
Go Kevin Kolb, go Calvin Johnson, go Brett Favre, and go Pack, go!

I could go for that if the Lions would. Although I don’t know if Kolb would be my second choice. And this is only if Brett comes back.
Otherwise I would say a d-back in the first round and d-end or tight end in the second round

Why would we trade up when there will be plenty of options at 16 we dont need a Qb we need more of a TE WR Rb Dt and Db this year that way even if Farve doesnt return it will take the pressure off Rogers and if Farve does return which he will it give him plenty of options unstead of just Driver. We should take Teddy Ginn (speed and special teams) and if hes not there grab a Safety or CB and take Gonzo WR or Pittman Rb in the second round. Bucks all the Way . Go Hawk GO Pack

Brett Favre needs more weapons for the offense and the Packers can get them right where they’re picking in the draft. I agree with David.
