It will be interesting to see how Brandon Jackson does for the Packers because he was never the main running back at Nebraska.  He also was often injured at Nebraska as he might not be built to handle the job of being an everydown running back in the NFL.  Jackson is 5′10″, 210 pounds but he’s a little slow (4.55 40) so it’s hard to see him being an impact player for the Packers.  In 33 games (11 starts) at Nebraska, Jackson carried the football 291 times for 1,431 yards (4.9 ypc) with 14 TD runs.  He also caught 34 passes for 318 yards (9.4 avg) with 2 TD grabs.  Picking Jackson was a little bit of a reach for the Packers, but, it’s likely that he’ll split time with Vernand Morency and the Packers might have some sort of a running game for Favre to work with.  The Packers screwed up this pick as their were a few workhorse type running backs available at their pick.
