6. (192) Desmond Bishop, MLB
The Packers might have got themselves a player here, at least on running downs. Bishop is 6’1″, 240 pounds but he’s a tad slow as he runs a 4.9 40. He can make plays between the tackles and he’s a sure tackler, but he doesn’t have the speed to contend with outside runs or defend a tight end or running back on a passing play. Bishop played in 25 games (all starts) for California, and he made 215 tackles, 21 tackles for a loss, had 3 sacks, broke up 3 passes and had 3 interceptions.
