The Green Bay Packers lose LB Abdul Hodge for the season

The Packers have lost 2nd year linebacker Abdul Hodge for the season as he will undergo season-ending knee surgery soon and he will be placed on Injured Reserve.  This is a shame as Hodge was playing his butt off this pre-season as he has made 10 tackles and had a sack already.  Rookie Desmond Bishop will replace Hodge as the top backup at inside linebacker.  Bishop has made 10 tackles and he also had the hit of the pre-season for the Packers when he drilled Jags’ receiver Reggie Williams taking off his helmet with the impact of the hit.
