The Packers dominated the Giants on Sunday afternoon.  The offense held onto the football for 34:26 of the game which was a big reason for the win.  The Packers sustained some long drives keeping the ball away from the Giants’ offense.  Brett Favre completed 29 of 38 passes for 286 yards with 3 TD passes and 1 interception.  DeShawn Wynn was outstanding for the Packers as he carried the football 10 times for 50 yards (5.0 ypc) with 2 TD runs and he also caught 2 passes for 18 yards.  Brandon Jackson wasn’t nearly as good as Wynn as he carried the ball 17 times for 35 yards (2.1 ypc) and he also caught 4 passes for 24 yards (6.0 avg).  Rookie WR James Jones had a solid game as he caught 4 passes for 75 yards (18.8 avg) and Donald Driver was also excellent with 8 catches for 73 yards (9.1 avg) with 1 TD grab.  Packers’ TEs Donald Lee (4 rec, 35 yards) and Bubba Franks (4 rec, 20 yards) each caught a TD pass from Brett Favre.  The Packers finished up with 83 yards rushing on 29 carries (2.9 ypc) and they completed 29 of 38 passes for 285 yards.

The Packers defense was bending but not breaking as they gave up a lot of yards to the Giants in this game.  The Giants rushed for 94 yards on 16 carries (5.9 ypc) and they completed 20 of 40 passes for 231 yards.
