Green Bay Packers 31, San Diego Chargers 24

The Packers played a good offensive game and it overcomed some lapses by the defense.  Brett Favre completed 28 of 45 passes for 369 yards with 3 TD passes and 0 interceptions.  Favre tied Dan Marino for the all-time most TD passes in the NFL in the 4th quarter of this football game.  Rookie RB Brandon Jackson did most of the running for the Packers as he had 6 carries for 22 yards (3.7 ypc) with a TD run.  He also caught 3 passes for 22 yards.   Donald Driver had an outstanding game as he caught 6 passes for 126 yards (21.0 avg) with 1 TD grab.  Greg Jennings also was outstanding with 4 grabs for 82 yards (20.5 avg) with 1 TD catch.  Rookie WR James Jones (6 rec, 79 yards) and TE Donald Lee (4 rec, 44 yards) both added some spice to the passing game.  The Packers finished up with 42 yards rushing on 13 carries (3.2 ypc) and they completed 28 of 45 passes for 363 yards.

Safety Atari Bigby (11 tackles) and linebacker A.J. Hawk (11 tackles) led the way for the Packers defense.  Linebacker Nick Barnett had a solid game with 7 tackles and an interception that set up a TD in the 4th quarter for the Packers.  Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila also was solid yesterday with 3 tackles and 2 sacks.  The Chargers finished up with 73 yards rushing on 28 carries (2.6 ypc) and they also completed 27 of 36 passes for 291 yards.
