The Green Bay Packers need to focus on the running game during the bye week

At some point the Packers will need a legit running game to maintain the success they have enjoyed early in the season as they are 5-1.  But, the weather will turn at some point and the Packers will need a running game or Brett Favre could have a rough time in the second half.  Rookie DeShawn Wynn has stepped up and the Packers would be smart to feed him the football a little bit more to give defenses something to think about.  Wynn has 202 yards rushing this season and he has averaged 4.1 yards per carry.  Brandon Jackson, also a rookie, has been a huge disappointment this season so far for the Packers.  He has carried the ball 38 times for 97 yards (2.6 ypc).  Vernand Morency seems to be more of a third down back as he has more catches (15) than carries (14).

Come November 29th, millions of fans will be excluded from viewing the Packers-Cowboys game due to the dispute between cable companies and NFL Network. Contact your local legislator and urge him/her to sign on as a co-sponsor to the FAN Act Legislation, which would set up a neutral arbiter to settle these situations.

For more information on FAN Act, please see: http://www.thewheelerreport.com/releases/Oct07/oct30/1030hansenfan.pdf.
