Green Bay Packers 42, Seattle Seahawks 20
The Packers got off to a rough start in this game as two Ryan Grant fumbles set up TDs for the Seahawks….but that just seemed to get the Packers angry. Brett Favre was outstanding last Saturday as he completed 18 of 23 passes for 173 yards with 3 TD passes. Ryan Grant was outstanding after his fumbles. He carried the ball 27 times for 201 yards (7.4 ypc) with 3 TD runs and he also caught 2 passes for 6 yards. Rookie Brandon Jackson also had an outstanding game. He carried the ball 8 times for 43 yards (5.4 ypc) and he also caught 1 pass….for a 13-yard TD. WR Greg Jennings was also outstanding as he caught 6 passes for 71 yards (11.8 avg) with 2 TD grabs. The Packers controlled the football for 34 minutes in this game which helped them physically dominate this game. The Packers finished up with 235 yards rushing on 35 carries (6.7 ypc) and they also completed 18 of 23 passes for 173 yards.
The Packers defense turned in a outstanding team effort in shutting down the Seahawks. Atari Bigby (7 tackles) and Cullen Jenkins (3 tackles, 1.5 sacks) led the way for the Packers on defense. The Seahawks finished up with 28 yards rushing on 18 carries (1.6 ypc) and they also completed 19 of 33 passes for 172 yards.
