Green Bay Packers vs. New York Giants
This should be a great game to watch on T.V. as the game time temperature is expected to be 4 degrees. Still, the Giants and Packers are used to cold weather so the best team will still likely win the game.
The Giants will need to run the football effectively to have any chance to win this football game. That’s because the Packers don’t blitz often which leaves their linebackers in pass coverage which will hurt the Giants when they try to throw short. With that in mind the Giants will likely try to pound the football with Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw. It will be interesting to see who wins the battle up front because if the Giants can’t run the ball and give Eli Manning time to throw the ball this game will be over quick.
The Packers will likely lean on their running game in the frigid weather. This will likely be a problem for the Giants who had big problems last week with Marion Barber. Ryan Grant rushed for 201 yards last week against the Seahawks and he’ll be looking to make the Giants pay for trading him to the Packers for a 6th round pick. The Giants will likely have huge problems with Brett Favre because he gets rid of the ball so fast that it will likely negate the Giants pass rush which is the strength of their team.
PREDICTION: GREEN BAY PACKERS 28, NEW YORK GIANTS 13

The Packers suck!!!!! I love it….HA HA HA!!!!
Old man river Favre is done!!!
HA HA HA!!!!!……YEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I KNOW PACK FANS ARE SICK TO THEIR STOMACHS!!!!….LOL….HA HA HA!!!!!!!!!!
Always find it pathetically amusing when some infantile fan such as “New Jersey Bears Fan” takes psychotic joy in a rivals’ loss. I am a life-long Packers fan and even I was em’BEAR’essed to see Chicago lay the biggest egg in SuperBowl XLI since the Raiders in 03 or the Giants in 01.
Note: Bears still trail the Pack in SuperBowl wins, appearances, and NFL Championship Titles.
p.s. for NJBF: XLI in roman numerals = 41 (did not want to keep you up all night)
7-9? It hurts I know, let it out, have a good cry… …here’s to next year! Cheers!
As for the game:
Best thing that happened vs. Seattle? Fell behind… sense of urgency led to 6 TD drives. Tonight looked like Dallas. Complacent. No sustained ball-control drives, too many attempts to force it. Gave up on quick/short passes, 2 fullback set, & everything that worked all year. (?)
Call me old-fashioned, but I miss the days when Quarterbacks called the plays as true field Generals in the action.
Our team played hard, the play-calling choked, and I am still proud of this years’ effort and the Green Bay Packers!
packers got embaressed …
giants are the superior team.
i can tell ya what happend, the last two drives sucked the minute farve started throwing the ball they should have stopped him and just ran the ball..because he was cold as hell and to dumb to stand by the heaters, because being packer everyone would have called him a pussy, but who cares atleast we could have won the game.the other quarter back said he stood by the heater all night and was not cold at all and felt good.thats my opinion..did you see that comercial were the guy was up in the booth calling the plays and he yawned while calling the play and the couch came up and gave him a bottle of something and grabbed the guys head set and said you wont need these anymore?well thats just exactly what i think happend on them last two drives and the interception that set up the win.who ever couldnt see that comin should be fired..
