4. (135) Josh Sitton, OG/T

Josh Sitton improved his stock big time at Central Florida’s Pro Day when a lot of scouts were present to watch RB Kevin Smith.  Sitton is 6′3″, 321 pounds and he can move for a big guy which means guard might be his best position in the pros.  He also would be smart to tighten up his frame in the weight room to help out with his conditioning.  Only time will tell if this was a good pick for the Packers or not.  He has upside but he also could be a bust as most experts didn’t expect him to even get drafted.

4. (102) Jeremy Thompson, DE

Jeremy Thompson stands at 6′4″, 262 pounds but he is not a power player.  He runs a 4.83 40 and speed is his game.  He played in 46 games (32 starts) in his career at Wake Forest and he made 112 tackles, had 20.5 tackles for a loss, 8.5 sacks, batted down 8 passes and he forced 2 fumbles.  Thompson will need to get tougher against the run if he wants to get on the field a lot for the Packers.

3. (91) Jermichael Finley, TE

Jermichael Finley decided to come out early in the NFL Draft and he was a very productive TE in college.  He is a good receiver and a willing blocker.  Finley is 6′4″, 240 pounds and he runs a 4.65 40 so don’t expect a lot of long TD receptions in PackerLand out of him.  Finley played in 26 games (17 starts) at Texas and he finished with 76 grabs for 947 yards (12.5 avg) with 5 TDs.  He might be able to start as a rookie for the Packers if he has a good training camp.
