The Green Bay Packers place Tory Humphrey on I.R.
The Packers have placed 26-year old TE Tory Humphrey on the Injured Reserve List with a broken forearm. Humphrey played in all 16 games for the Packers last season and he caught 11 passes for 162 yards (14.7 avg). This will hurt the Packers a little bit as they were planning to expand Humphrey’s role in the offense in 2009.
