The Green Bay Packers pick TE Andrew Quarless in the 5th round
The Packers have picked TE Andrew Quarless with the 154th overall pick (5th round) of the NFL Draft. Quarless has the size 6′5″. 250 pounds and the speed 4.8 40 to do damage in both the running and passing game for the Packers. He is a good run blocker and he has an excellent set of hands. Quarless played in 13 games (all starts) at Penn State last season and he caught 41 passes for 536 yards (13.1 avg) with 3 TD grabs. He played in 48 games (31 starts) in his four years at Penn State and he caught 87 passes for 1,146 yards (13.2 avg) with 8 TD grabs. Quarless fell to the Packers in the fifth round due to red flags for his off the field issues. If the Packers can get him to behave himself they might just have a steal in Quarless.
