Taylor played in 14 games in 1962 for the Packers and he carried the ball 272 times for 1,474 yards (5.4 ypc) with 19 TD runs. He led the NFL in both rushing yards and TD runs in 1962. He also caught 22 passes for 106 yards (4.8 avg) in 1962. Taylor is # in Packers’ history in rushing yards (8,207) and he’s the all-time leader in TD runs (81) in Packers’ history. Taylor made it to 5 Pro Bowls in his 9 years with the Packers and he was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1976.
