35-year old WR Donald Driver keeps rolling for the Green Bay Packers.  He played in 16 games for the Packers last season and he caught 70 passes for 1,061 yards (15.2 avg) with 6 TD grabs.  Driver certainly doesn’t play like a man that is 35 years old as he still has all of the toughness and speed that he had when he came into the NFL and that is amazing.  Driver has now played in 161 games in his NFL career and he has caught 647 passes for 9,050 yards (14.0 avg) with 49 TD grabs.

33-year old cornerback Charles Woodson is the Defensive Player of the Year in the NFL.  He played in all 16 games for the Packers last season and he had 74 tackles, 2 sacks, 9 tackles for a loss and he forced 4 fumbles.  Woodson also defensed 18 passes and he intercepted 9 passes three of which he returned for TDs.  Woodson definitely deserved this honor as he helped get his team to the playoffs.

The Green Bay Packers got great play out of the QBs in 2009

26-year old Aaron Rodgers has stepped out of the large shadow of Brett Favre.  He played in all 16 games for the Packers this season and he completed 350 of 541 passes (64.7%) for 4,434 yards with 30 TD passes and 7 INTs (103.2 QB Rating).  He also carried the ball 58 times for 316 yards (5.4 ypc) with 5 TD runs this year.  Rodgers has now played in 39 games in his NFL career and he has completed 726 of 1,136 passes (63.9%) for 8,801 yards with 59 TD passes and 21 INTs (97.2 QB Rating).  He has also carried the ball 125 times for 570 yards (4.6 ypc) with 9 TD runs.  Rodgers not only is a outstanding passer but he is very tough having started all 32 games the last two years for the Packers.

24-year old Matt Flynn is the back-up for the Packers and he hasn’t shown much yet.  In his defense he almost never gets to play and that is a good thing for the Packers.  Flynn played in 15 games for the Packers this season and he completed 7 of 12 passes (58.3%) for 58 yards with 0 TD passes and 1 INT (36.1 QB Rating).  He also carried the ball 5 times for -5 yards (-1.0 ypc) this year.  Flynn has now played in 22 games for the Packers and he has completed 9 of 17 passes (52.9%) for 64 yards with 0 TD passes and 1 INT (37.4 QB Rating).  He has also carried the ball 9 times for -1 yard (-0.1 ypc) in his career.  If something happened to Rodgers the Packers would almost certainly try to sign another QB.

Nick Collins has really been a great playmaker this season for the Green Bay Packers

26-year old safety Nick Collins has been outstanding this season for the Packers.  He has played in 14 games for the Packers this season and he has made 47 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss, 1 sack, defensed 12 passes and he has 6 interceptions.  The Packers really have benefitted from the big plays that the secondary has made this season and Collins has been a big part of that.

Ryan Grant has had another solid year for the Green Bay Packers

With the Packers turning into a amazing passing team Ryan Grant has done a solid job of giving the offense some ground support.  He has played in 14 games for the Packers this season and he has carried the ball 255 times for 1,105 yards (4.3 ypc) with 8 TD runs.  Grant has also caught 25 passes for 197 yards (7.9 avg) this season.  The 27-year old Grant has really made the front office happy that they stuck with him after his sub par 2008 season.
